2 Year old Funded Places

 

From September 2025, we will be opening our Nursery doors to 2-year-old children who are eligible to claim early years funding.

This expansion reflects our commitment to giving children the very best start in their educational journey within a caring, stimulating, and supportive environment. Our experienced Early Years team is ready to provide high-quality early education tailored to the developmental needs of younger children.

We will be offering 15 funded hours per week to eligible families, which can be accessed through two session options:

  • Morning session: 8:45am – 11:45am
  • Afternoon session: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
    (Monday to Friday)

For families who are eligible for 30 funded hours, the following extended provision will be available:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8:45am – 3:30pm
  • Wednesday morning: 8:45am – 11:45am

15hrs Targeted two-year-old funding

Some families of two-year-olds may be able to access up to 15 hours of early education (over 38 weeks of the year) from the term after a child’s second birthday, if the household: N is in receipt of certain benefits, such as Universal Credit N has no recourse to public funds (NRPF) Or N The child is looked after by the local authority, has an education, health and care (EHC) plan, gets Disability Living Allowance, has left care under an adoption order, special guardianship order or a child arrangement order. 15 hrs Expanded two-year-old funding
