Implementation
PE is a valued and important part of the curriculum at Whitley Park. All children take part in weekly PE lessons taught by our two specialist sports coaches, who help pupils to develop a wide range of physical skills across different sports and activities. We provide regular opportunities for children to represent the school in tournaments and sporting events, helping them to experience competition, teamwork and build resilience. Our strong links with other local schools and organisations allow us to offer a variety of exciting sporting experiences, such as rowing competitions and kayaking sessions. Through these opportunities, we aim to inspire every child to enjoy being active, develop confidence in their abilities, and understand the importance of health and fitness.
